Our truck is more than just a place to grab lunch on the go. We are also a full-service catering facility to handle all of your needs even beyond the waffle format. Having over 20 years of professional culinary experience allows us to cater to any of your needs for any event no matter the size or theme.
All of our waffles are also available as a Gluten Free option using our fresh Made Gluten Free batter. We also offer a dairy free whipped cream allowing several Vegan options
The warm sweet treat with golden brown deep grid patterns was created in the 1500s the term "Wafle" or now spelled Waffle was established sometime in the early 1900s. Throughout generations, the recipe for delicious waffles has continued to evolve to include sweet and savory, thick and thin and even the shapes. It is said that in Belgium, the Prince of Liege’s personal chef presented a thick waffle coated with caramelized sugar, which was a very popular and this was the very first Liege waffle. There are primarily two styles of Belgian waffle, the Liege and Brussels waffles.
Buddha Belly Waffles has chosen to go with the Liege style waffle shape and our own custom and proprietary recipe. The batter for Liege waffles is thicker and stickier, almost resembling a bread dough. We strive to deliver a crispy exterior with a perfect light airy center topped with only the freshest ingredients.
The other style of Belgian waffle is the Brussels which are made with a thin, yeast-leavened batter which makes them lighter and airier. They are usually rectangular-shaped, with deep grooves and smooth edges.

We pride ourselves on being a complete scratch kitchen and do not use any bottled sauces or ingredients with any of our dishes. We use local ingredients and support small business in our area including local farms for our produce and get our amazing ice cream from Thomas Sweet located in central New Jersey.
Because of our restaurant experience and making all of our dishes from scratch, making any menu for your special event will never be a problem. Our team will spend the time with you to make sure your needs are taken care of, and everyone leaves wanting more.
The “Kylie” is a wonderful blend of our house made strawberry syrup, fresh cut strawberries, a crunchy strawberry cookie blend and fresh whipped cream.

The “Bob” is a wonderful blend of sweet ripe bananas, a sweetened cinnamon sauce and a wonderful scoop of Thomas Sweet vanilla ice cream

The “Vinny” is the most popular dessert waffle and that is served with one scoop each of Thomas Sweet vanilla and chocolate ice cream, our own house made chocolate ganache, fresh whipped cream and a cherry on top of course

The ”Danielle” is a wonderful tart lemon curd that is topped with our raspberry syrup and topped with a vanilla cookie crumble

The “Brandon” is the perfect combination of tender thinly sliced steak with our secret cheese sauce and your choice of with or without fried onions

The “Phyllis” is a tender shredded chicken breast mixed in our own BBQ sauce and topped with Asian slaw.

The “Sharon” is a wonderful blend of our house made fig jam, peppery arugula, thinly sliced prosciutto and topped with a balsamic glaze.
